Naudé Heunis is a wildlife, conservation and adventure filmmaker, DOP and photographer with more than a decade of field experience, based out of the US, available worldwide.
His work is driven by a deep connection to the natural world and an instinct for capturing wildlife with intimacy, patience and respect. Rather than simply documenting an animal, Naudé looks for the moment that reveals its character — a glance, a gesture, a behaviour or a quiet interaction that brings the viewer closer to the subject.
Working across land, ocean, underwater and aerial environments, Naudé combines strong technical expertise with a highly observational approach. His experience as a director, DOP, underwater cinematographer and certified drone operator allows him to work fluidly in challenging environments and find perspectives that would otherwise remain unseen.
His credits include National Geographic, BBC, DJI, Insta360, Audi, WWF, IFAW, Sennheiser, PolarPro and PADI, alongside extensive work across wildlife, adventure and conservation productions.
From Antarctica and the South Pacific to Africa, Iceland and remote tropical environments, Naudé has spent more than 13 years working in some of the world's most demanding and extraordinary locations.
