Introducing Fran Galac - Automotive Photographer

An Editorial Eye on Automotive

Fran Galac brings a distinctive, editorial sensibility to automotive photography, with an instinct for finding the unexpected frame.

His work moves beyond the traditional conventions of automotive imagery, exploring the relationship between cars, architecture, landscape and light. Whether photographing a car on track, in an urban environment or against a striking architectural backdrop, Fran has a natural ability to turn the environment into part of the story.

His images are considered without feeling overly constructed. He plays with perspective, composition, negative space and graphic elements to create photographs that feel contemporary, atmospheric and full of character - while keeping the car firmly at the centre of the frame.

There is also a tactile quality to Fran’s work. His distinctive editing style has helped him build a strong following among automotive enthusiasts, with his work recognised for its quirky perspectives, bold colour, graphic compositions and occasional pop-art influence. His images often play with distortion, scale and unexpected visual treatments, giving familiar automotive subjects a fresh and sometimes playful perspective.

His approach to post-production is equally considered. Rather than pursuing the ultra-clean, polished finish often associated with automotive photography, Fran embraces texture, grain and a degree of imperfection. His love of the “good old days of grain” brings a tactile, analogue quality to his digital work, while his use of colour and contrast gives the images a distinctive visual punch.

The result is photography that feels automotive, but not conventional — precise enough to celebrate the design and detail of the vehicle, while bringing an artistic edge that makes both the image and the product itself memorable.

With an established following, Fran understands what makes an automotive image stop someone in their tracks. He is now bringing that distinctive visual language to commercial photography, offering automotive brands an opportunity to communicate their products with a little more attitude, atmosphere and individuality.

Precision doesn't have to mean predictable.

Roice Nel - From Film to Photography

Roice’s stills portfolio is shaping up beautifully, with his latest campaign for Jetour showcasing his ability to move seamlessly between motion and photography.

One of Cape Town’s leading social media DOPs, Roice has built a reputation for creating work that feels considered, contemporary and highly attuned to its audience. His portfolio includes social content for Toyota Global, the main sponsor of the Tokyo Olympics, as well as marketing collateral for BBC America’s The Watch.

Roice’s ideas and creative perspective ensure that every piece has a clear visual intention and connects with its audience. His ability to blend traditional filmmaking techniques with the latest technology allows him to elevate projects, regardless of their scale.

In response to the demands of an increasingly visual and fast-moving digital landscape, Roice has expanded his skill set into photography, bringing the same instinct for movement, composition and storytelling to stills.

The Jetour campaign is a great example of this evolution - a campaign delivered across both video and stills, with Roice shaping the visual language across the two mediums.

His growing photography portfolio is another dimension to a filmmaker already fluent in the language of contemporary content.

AI in Production: Creating More with Less.

Many Locations, One Solution.

In our brand film, one of the characters is a diver.
To demonstrate location flexibility in this cutdown, we moved our diver from the open ocean into a swimming pool for training.

AI helps overcome complex production challenges - like simulating underwater shoots - while supporting storytelling, character development, and giving your brands the
ability to showcase many of their strengths.

Once the AI character is signed off, environments can be swapped seamlessly, unlocking safe, efficient, and cost-effective creative possibilities that would be difficult or expensive to achieve in traditional production.

AI Stills Campaign: Never Lose Your Way — Creative Direction & Production Solutions for Integrated Advertising

For our recent creative test, we set out to show how AI-generated stills can go beyond stand-alone images and form the foundation of a full campaign.

These visuals were originally created for our fitness awareness brand film reel, Never Lose Your Way. By designing the stills with motion in mind, we demonstrated how easily they can evolve into an integrated campaign, stretching across brand film, photography, and digital content.

The strength of this approach lies in combining our advertising and production expertise, together with high-end AI visuals and post-production. We’re able to maximise content variety from a single creative source. The result is a more agile, scalable, and cost-effective way for brands to create campaigns that work across platforms.

This is just the start of our exploration into how AI-driven production can expand creative possibilities while staying true to brand storytelling.

Giving Localisation a Creative Edge with AI-Driven Creative Production

In today’s global market, brands aren’t just communicating across borders - they’re telling stories across cultures, languages, and platforms. That’s where creative localisation becomes essential.

It’s easy to think of localisation as a final technical step, a simple matter of translation. But for brands delivering campaigns across multiple regions, the real challenge isn't just translation, it's transformation.

Why Creative Localisation Matters

Localisation isn’t just about swapping out copy. It’s about reshaping your message so it resonates culturally, emotionally, and visually - wherever it lands.

What works in London may fall flat in Seoul. A campaign that connects in São Paulo might need a totally different tone in Berlin. Every market has its own rhythm, nuance, and creative expectations.

That’s why we treat localisation as a creative process, not just a technical one. And now, thanks to advanced AI production tools, we can deliver that process faster, smarter, and more precisely than ever.

What We Offer: AI-Enhanced Localisation Services

We help brands adapt global campaigns with a high level of creative control.

Our localisation toolkit includes:

  • Flexible, region-specific scripts that preserve meaning while adapting tone and pacing

  • Realistic, customisable AI voiceovers with a wide range of languages and accents

  • Precise AI lip syncing, making dubbed or voice-replaced content look seamless

  • Real-time iteration and versioning, so you can test and tweak instantly

  • Faster turnaround and lower overhead, without sacrificing creative quality

This means your teams can adapt campaigns quickly and scale them confidently.

Creative Localisation That Scales

We believe localisation should empower creatives, not slow them down. By integrating AI into the process, we’re giving brands more freedom to speak to audiences in truly local terms, not just with translated words, but with tailored creative that feels native, everywhere it appears.

Whether you’re launching a global product, adapting branded content for social, or building region-specific variations for digital campaigns, we can help you move faster - and smarter.

AI Sport Commercial - Never Lose Your Way

Stepping Into the Future.

Artists & Legends is a hybrid creative agency blending traditional production with GenAI, 3D and Post Production. This AI reel is a proof of concept, demonstrating how we craft high-impact campaigns by merging longstanding production experience with today’s most forward-thinking creative technologies.

Entering the GenAI space has been nothing short of thrilling. As a team of visual storytellers, we saw an opportunity to harness this technology to expand what a creative studio can imagine, build, and deliver.

At a time when advertising teams are expected to create more visually ambitious content - on tighter timelines and leaner budgets - we offer creative solutions that make that possible. Whether it’s designing cinematic locations, solving complex production challenges, or building a diverse, global cast of characters, we do it all with agility, precision, and a focus on impact.

GenAI isn’t here to replace craft - it’s here to amplify it. When combined with experienced creative direction, production ingenuity, and strategic thinking, it becomes a creative engine that unlocks new visual languages and campaign possibilities.

This reel is just the beginning.

If you're ready to explore how a hybrid approach can work for your brand — let’s talk.

Whether we start with existing imagery or create new visuals, we build full campaign ecosystems - from hero films and teasers to stills and social edits - all tailored for cross-platform use.

New Work - Martinsson King - For Those Who Refuse to Settle.

We are honored to have been chosen to fly to Berlin to shoot a brand film for the hair care brand Martinsson King. The challenge was to create an engaging, visually impactful 30 minute film for their global launch event.

The film, which has 4 separate stories, is directed by our very own producer, Deborah Bacher. This debut was exciting and creatively rewarding. She worked closely with the Creative Director, David Glover, over a period of two months to not only handle the production aspects of the shoot, but to create a treatment that would be showcased to distributors and hair care professionals from around the world at the event in Sweden.

Here are 2 of the 4 films.

The films were shot on location in Berlin and Mallorca. DOP Daniel Lezz.
