The producer at Artists & Legends has been a producer for almost 2 decades. Her experience encompasses print & commercial production, music videos and large fashion events. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and marketing from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, she returned to her home town to work in advertising. Little did she know that she would end up working for Tanya Townsend, one of South Africa's most revered print producers. Debbie's career has grown steadily over the years, producing massive print campaigns and TV commercials in Cape Town for the international market. Debbie did not stop there. With her global contacts, she has worked backstage at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York City and Australia, produced campaigns in New York, Los Angeles, Lisbon, Seychelles, Mauritius and Bombay, to name a few. Her love of travel and working with different cultures kept her on the move. She's worked alongside Sally Field, Rachel Griffith, Natalie Imbruglia, Ryan Reynolds and Owen Wilson. Her most recent contract was as the national Producer for Kevin Murphy in the USA. She produced 3 day fashion events across the US, culminating in hair and fashion shows for almost 1000 people. At the beginning of 2015 Debbie returned to Cape Town to launch Artists & Legends. Her vision: to harness her diverse, global experience and the creativity she has experienced on 3 continents, and to offer it to the creative industry in South Africa. The result: A progressive, forward thinking agency comprising of artists with their own unique voices looking to offer their vision to advertising agencies, brands and production houses both in South Africa, and the rest of the world.

Ryan Kruger is South Africa's top music video director. His commercials are pretty awesome too! His work has been nominated by MTV Africa and his recent video "Doors " for rock band Prime Circle won Best Video of the Year at the South African Music Awards. Ryan's style is sometimes dark, sometimes light but always has a strong, cinematic narrative. His desire is to move more into directing feature films. We are excited to be representing such a talented young star. In his motifs, Sivan Miller seeks the face of the 21st century. His feel for unique looking models, fashion, and locations all combine into cool portraits offering the beholder a new perspective on today’s world. In his choice of models, he looks for a certain “alien feeling”—for types that will take us on a trip to the near future. In doing so, Sivan often sets standards in the field of lifestyle photography.
Being discovered by the legendary talk-show host Oprah Winfrey propelled his career even further. Today, this young photographer belongs to the emerging masters of Fashion Photography. His sense for faces and his modern staging all make for a laid-back but also very secure visual vocabulary.
We love his aesthetic, yet somewhat lifestyle approach to his editorial work. He also has an incredible imagination which comes across in his highly styled, futuristic campaigns. The production division and creatives at Artists & Legends have certainly had their adventurous experiences over the years, but none as exciting and challenging as Annie Leibovitz's latest shoot for Moncler. We would like to honour this brilliant photographer who not only continues to shoot exquisite images, but goes the distance for the ultimate shot. Having to hike across an icy world and threatening weather conditions, Annie handles the elements like the pro she is. We know how grueling production can be and we admire her professionalism.
