New Work: TomTom Rider 450 Video
The Artists & Legends team are excited to share the new TomTom Rider 450 video. Produced in Cape Town earlier this year by Debbie Bacher, the video was shot on various mountain passes through the Western Cape. Director/cinematographer Fabian Vettiger took full advantage of the incredible scenery, creating visuals that truly captured the spirit of the open road. We recently flew up to Johannesburg to shoot a commercial for Mobicel. The influencer campaign launched 1st December 2016. We got to work with rapper Shane Eagle, Gqom Queen Babes Wodumo, Sketchy Bongo, Radio DJ on 5FM Linda Mbuso, Social Entrepreneur Maitele Wawe and Illustrator Kingsley Palime. Our producer Debbie Bacher is currently producing another musically orientated project in Johannesburg. The commercial includes an original score by Sketchy Bongo, Shane Eagle and Babes Wodumo. Shooting downtown Joburg brought back memories of this production with Joy Denalane, who came home to walk the path of her ancestors in this beautiful documentary style music video produced by Debbie Bacher

The passionate presenter proved himself a worthy candidate when his first series, covering SA Menswear Week, became an overnight YouTube sensation! Prestigious, luxury car company Rolls Royce launch their new convertible in Cape Town, South Africa. Press from around the world have the privilege of driving one of the new vehicles around the most beautiful cities in the world. Whizzing around on a camera rigged BMW motorbike is top British car photographer, James Lipman. James flew in for a month long launch of "Dawn", the latest addition to the Rolls Royce fleet.
James has steadily built his portfolio up to include campaigns for Tesla Motors, Porsche, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Porsche Panorama magazine, Mercedes Benz UK, Alfa Romeo UK and Top Gear, to name a few...

Debbie's career has grown steadily over the years, producing massive print campaigns and TV commercials in Cape Town for the international market. Debbie did not stop there. With her global contacts, she has worked backstage at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York City and Australia, produced campaigns in New York, Los Angeles, Lisbon, Seychelles, Mauritius and Bombay, to name a few. Her love of travel and working with different cultures kept her on the move. She's worked alongside Sally Field, Rachel Griffith, Natalie Imbruglia, Ryan Reynolds and Owen Wilson. Her most recent contract was as the national Producer for Kevin Murphy in the USA. She produced 3 day fashion events across the US, culminating in hair and fashion shows for almost 1000 people. At the beginning of 2015 Debbie returned to Cape Town to launch Artists & Legends. Ryan Kruger is South Africa's top music video director. His commercials are pretty awesome too! His work has been nominated by MTV Africa and his recent video "Doors " for rock band Prime Circle won Best Video of the Year at the South African Music Awards. Ryan's style is sometimes dark, sometimes light but always has a strong, cinematic narrative. His desire is to move more into directing feature films. We are excited to be representing such a talented young star. We would like to honour this brilliant photographer who not only continues to shoot exquisite images, but goes the distance for the ultimate shot. Having to hike across an icy world and threatening weather conditions, Annie handles the elements like the pro she is. We know how grueling production can be and we admire her professionalism.
