BBC America - The Watch.

I had a lot of fun producing the marketing assets for BBC America for their TV series, The Watch.

Managing 4 sets simultaneously over 2 days.

We were immersed in a dystopian world, looking for the right spaces to capture all the video and print imagery. Spending time with the actors & getting to know their characters was truly a magical experience.

The BBC team also chose to work with three of the DOP’s from Artists & Legends.

Roice Nel directed & shot principle video, with Jonathan Tait on B cam. Nick Burton Moore shot the chroma key assets.

To add to the stature, the print campaign was shot by the very talented and humble Pari Dukovic. Social stills by Hayden Phipps.

Production in Berlin for Martinsson King - Behind the Scenes Part 2

Eco hair care brand Martinsson King, based out of Stockholm, commissioned Artists & Legends to produce their latest brand film and photo shoot in Berlin, Germany. Principal photography by Kate Bellm. Our very creative two day shoot was captured beautifully by Carolin Saage. Models cast from Mega Models and Izaio Berlin. Here is part two, behind the scenes. .

New Work for Relync.

We are proud to introduce our most recent collaboration: the online commercial for new Chinese motorised scooter brand, Relync.

Artists & Legends creative talent featured heavily on the project, with both cinematographer Naude Heunis and stylist Danielle Solomon lending their respective talents.

Now Representing Cinematographer Roscoe Vercueil

Cape Town-based cinematographer Roscoe Vercueil's focus is on collaboration. He seeks out like-minded individuals with whom he can work to create cutting edge visuals and beautiful images. Roscoe has worked in the film industry for almost a decade. He has developed a keen interest in the meaning of colour and how it translates on film.

Vastly experienced, he is comfortable in shooting all types of content: from creative music videos to managing large teams for long periods of time on feature films.

Fashion Cinematographer Roice Nel Joins Artists & Legends.

Cape Town-based Roice Nel has been a regular collaborator with South African fashion designers for the last seven years. With capability to shoot, direct and edit a project, Roice has become the go-to filmmaker in the SA fashion scene.
His experience in documentary film making gives him a unique perspective when shooting fashion films. His ability to multitask as director and editor, makes turn-around times on projects that much faster.

He has shot for GQ, Glamour, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Volkswagen, Levi’s, Fossil, Puma and H&M. Roice's breathtaking visuals capture not only the beauty of the garments, but the lifestyle and essence of the brands he works with.

Cinematographer Fabian Vettiger for Ronaldo's CR7 Denim range.

Fabian continues to build his already-impressive body of work. Just released is this commercial for Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo's recently-launched CR7 Denim range, directed by David East. Fabian has worked on campaigns for many high-profile South African brands including Investec, Vodacom and Hunter's Dry. Fabian is available as both a director and cinematographer. One of the most vibrant personalities we've encountered on set, Reinout Steenhuizen is an unquestionably talented cinematographer. Professional, hard-working, and simultaneously the life of the party with experience in a wide range of mediums from feature documentaries to music videos to slick television commercials, he is an asset to any team. Artists & Legends is so excited to be working with Reinout. He is based in the Netherlands and available to work throughout the world.

New Work: TomTom Rider 450 Video

The Artists & Legends team are excited to share the new TomTom Rider 450 video. Produced in Cape Town earlier this year by Debbie Bacher, the video was shot on various mountain passes through the Western Cape. Director/cinematographer Fabian Vettiger took full advantage of the incredible scenery, creating visuals that truly captured the spirit of the open road. Ryan Kruger, Multi Award Winning - and South Africa's Young Director to Watch This Year - Joins Artists & Legends.

Ryan Kruger is South Africa's top music video director. His commercials are pretty awesome too! His work has been nominated by MTV Africa and his recent video "Doors " for rock band Prime Circle won Best Video of the Year at the South African Music Awards. Ryan's style is sometimes dark, sometimes light but always has a strong, cinematic narrative. His desire is to move more into directing feature films. We are excited to be representing such a talented young star.
